I knew this audiobook would be funny because Meghan Quinn wrote it, but omg! I want to crawl in Meghan’s brain to see how she comes up with these ideas. Eli and Penny are fire! Their love story is embedded into my heart. The slow burn leading up to their steam was intense. And boy were they steamy! Their connection is intoxicating. Eli is a smooth dirty talker, and I loved it. Penny’s erratic behavior, bumbling, and pregnancy hormones killed me. She makes Eli crazy trying to keep up with her craziness and pranks. His feelings for Penny are all consuming. The side characters are just as amazing. Everyone in this story is relatable, enjoyable, and fun. Everyone should have best friends like these. This story is funny and heartfelt and kept me thoroughly engrossed. Meghan outdid herself with this one.

Kelsey Navarro plus Teddy Hamilton equals the most amazing duet narration ever. Absolute perfection! I especially loved Kelsey in this one because she really embodied Penny’s erratic behavior and panicked pregnant woman moments. Eli gave us some moments of true heartfelt emotions, which Teddy portrayed expertly. They were engrossing. The playful banter between the characters was brought to life so vividly. I highly recommend the audiobook version of this book. Thank you to Piece of Cake Audiobooks for gifting me this audiobook from my favorite romcom author in exchange for an honest review.
