Hard to Love (Play Hard #5) by K. Bromberg

This is an honest review for an arc received.

“I wasn’t quitting on you. I was saving you from me.”

To say I’ve waited for Finn’s book is an understatement. Let’s break it down.

“I’m rescuing you from the tower, Rapunzel. It’s time to let your hair down.”

Stevie Lancaster is a tennis star who’s reeling from a devastating loss. She lost her anchor and is spiraling. Unwanted publicity, crazy antics and drinking is a recipe for disaster. But when a game brings her face to face with Finn, all bets are off. Will he help her or walk away?

A kiss is just a kiss and yet this moment—his lips, his touch, the uniqueness of the glowing water—makes it feel like so much more.

Finn Sanderson is an agent who ruthlessly goes after everything he wants. He knows to never let his heart get involved, thanks to a bitter father. Finn is determined to live life by his own rules – Love em’ and leave em’. But when a feisty tennis player crashes into his life, he soon realizes everything he’s been missing out on.

“You’re my Cards O’ Fun, and I want to keep turning them over and experiencing each different one with you. Only you.”

5 fantastic stars! This book was everything I hoped it would be. Stevie is such a lovable character who you can’t help but feel for. Finn, well Finn I kinda despised in all previous books. He was the snake in the grass that struck when you least expected it. I was so glad for him to be redeemed. I knew he was a good guy down at his core. K. Bromberg has a unique way of redeeming the unredeemable. What an amazing way to end an outstanding series!
