Not going to lie, I originally purchased it because the cover is so amazing. Well, this audiobook is just as amazing! Sexy men and steamy scenes in the paranormal romance genre? Yes, please! I’ve only read a couple of reverse harem books, and those were only 2 to 3 star reads. This was definitely a 5-STAR happy surprise, and gave me a new found love for this genre! Dami could be a bit annoying sometimes, but I think it’s because she’s had to live her life as a loner. She’s a strong female lead who’s unapologetic about who and what she is. I love a strong female character and Dami didn’t disappoint. The men… Monsters? Demons?… were so diverse and entertaining. A Grim Reaper, a berserker, and a lion-shifter. Oh my! I’m definitely Team Grim! Albany Walker did a great job building this paranormal/urban fantasy world. The reverse harems that I’ve read were just about sex, but not this with this book. Albany took the time to give you a well-choreographed story with great character and relationship development. I thought the story was very creative and highly recommend it!

This audiobook was so much fun! I thought the narrators, Vanessa Moyen and Lucas Webley, were expertly cast. Their voices and performance fit perfectly for each character and you could easily distinguish between each one. Vanessa fully embraced Dami’s sass and care-free attitude. As for Lucas’s voice and character portrayal – MAJOR SWOON! Trust me ladies, you want to listen to everything this man narrates!
