Hazel Allen and Crew Smith are childhood best friends. Hazel grew up working on Crew’s grandfather, Pops, farm, while Crew’s focus was football. After years apart, they are brought back together with the death of Pops. An unexpected gift from Pops has Hazel and Crew touring Germany together. It’s clear that Pops’ plan is for these two to fall in love, as he leaves them letters along their journey. But is it possible for 2 people from 2 different worlds to have an HEA?

Holy Roosevelt, this was a great audiobook!  This book is full of adventure, friendship, family, finding yourself, finding love, and steamy romance. Pops is amazing! How he managed to put all this together for Hazel and Crew I will never know. This book is perfect in every sense of the word. Every word is perfection.  The plot was original and fun. Hazel and Crew have one of the most honest, trustworthy, and true friendships I have ever read. The writing style was seamless with their transition from friends to lovers. It felt real, natural, and un-forced. Pops’ letters and words of wisdom are EVERYTHING! The backdrop of Germany was a character in itself. Meghan described Germany so perfectly that you felt like you were on the journey with Hazel and Crew. The descriptions were so vibrant and intriguing with lots of interesting facts along the way. If I ever go to Germany, I am taking this book with me so I can relive this journey in person. Do yourself a favor and immediately buy this book or audiobook!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about narrators Kelsey Navarro and Tim Paige. They are perfection personified. Hazel is such a sassy character and Kelsey embraced that perfectly. And Tim perfectly represented Crew and all his wittiness. These 2 were perfectly cast for their roles. Have I mentioned yet how perfect the narration was? (lol) Their voices were very fitting for the characters and really brought them to life. I will definitely listen to the other books in this series and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys this genre!
