Another fun and heartfelt read from Xavier Neal. I love the way she writes with such enthusiasm. Her story lines are always intriguing and her characters her well-developed and likeable. It was easy to connect with the MCs. This first in a new hockey romance series is packed full of steam, fun, and feels. Harlow is such a spit-fire, and I love that about her. Her sass gives dirty talker Brendan a run for his money. He’s such a sweetheart. But don’t let him fool you. There’s definitely a naughty side to this good boy. The witty banter kept me laughing throughout, while the intense passion kept me swooning. This was a great start to the series, and I can’t wait to see where it goes. Thank you to CandiKane PR for gifting me this great book in exchange for an honest review.
