I’ll start off this review by saying, please read the triggers associated with this book.

Now that’s out of the way, all I can say is WOW! Tatum Torrio is finding herself again after a very traumatic ending to a previous relationship. She is hiding out with her father’s right hand man, Romero. Determined to become stronger, sparks begin to fly.

Romero Pierce survived an abusive father. After the fateful events one night as a teenager, his mother sends him to live with the one man that can protect him, Callum Torrio. When feelings begin to surface for Tatum, he does everything he can to push her away.

4 1/2 stars. What a story. The push and pull between these characters was epic. Not to mention the off the chart tension and chemistry between Tatum and Romero. I loved watching Tatum find a better, stronger version of herself. Romero acknowledged his feelings and fought for what he truly wanted. This was a great read.
