New ALC Review from Dana
More Than I Could
By Adriana Locke
Narrated by Tor Thorn & Maxine Mitchell
I’ve come to the realization that there’s nothing Adriana Locke can write that I won’t love. Megan Kramer thinks she’s doing her mom a favor by becoming the nanny for Chase Marshall. His growly, grumpy attitude makes her blood boil. And her sassy back-talking mouth gets under his skin. It doesn’t take long though before Chase realizes that what he wants is for her to get underneath him. And against her original plan, she wants that just as much. Like all Adriana’s books, this story is well-written and totally captivating. The characters are well developed, interesting, and relatable. The side characters are just as great. It didn’t take me long to fall in love with Chase, Megan, and their friends and family. The banter between them all is epic. I literally laughed out loud at my desk while listening. It had the perfect amount of laughs, emotions, and steam. Seriously, if you aren’t reading/listening to Adriana Locke’s books then what are you doing with your life?
Tor Thorn and Maxine Mitchell were cast perfectly for their roles. Their timing, pitch, pace, and tones were great. Their characterizations were spot on. Tor and Maxine are amazing narrators individually. But together, they are a dream team. They easily portrayed each character and scene, giving the story the perfect flow. I was thoroughly intrigued from start to finish. This is such a fun story, and these narrators really brought it to life. Thank you to the author for gifting me this hilarious and steamy audiobook in exchange for an honest review.
