I just love Eve Riley’s work. Her stories are always well-written, detailed, and exciting. She’s descriptive, which makes it easy to picture the world she’s created. The characters are distinctive and interesting. I was immediately drawn into the story. Alex and Des’ story is sweet and so real. Their attraction is instant once they see each other. Alex was my favorite. Such a sweet, introverted soul. I loved the side characters just as much. Their friendships are solid and supportive. The plot unraveled at a smooth and believable pace. I was thoroughly enthralled from start to finish with this emotional story. I especially enjoyed the personal growth between the characters. Thank you to the author for gifting me this beautiful character-driven story in exchange for an honest review.
