I am absolutely obsessed with the Protection series. One of the things I love about this series is that each book can be enjoyed as a standalone. I think this one is my favorite in the series so far. The build up and system is phenomenal. It’s very Criminal Minds meets romance genre. I love that. Charlie Beckham is a confident and successful FBI Profiler. He’s also smeggsy as sin. It’s through his job that he meets Special Agent Rhyan Riggs. She may be quiet, but she still manages to keep Charlie on his toes. Their attraction is instant and their connection is intense. And ladies, profiling isn’t Charlie’s only expertise. He’ll let you know exactly what he’s good at. #DirtyTalker This story is so well-written with well-developed characters that are just as intriguing as the storyline. This one kept me on my toes! Teddy Hamilton and Maxine Mitchell were perfectly cast for their roles. They are a dream team. Their timing, pitch, pace, and tones were exemplary, as always, and their characterizations were spot on. These narrators never fail to keep me enthralled and impressed with their ability to perfectly embody each character and make you feel like you’re a part of the story. I highly recommend the audiobook version of Mine To Keep.
