A fantasy romance from Nora Roberts with a gothic cursed mansion? Yes, please! I was sucked in immediately. This generational haunting goes back two centuries. Sonya is such a strong and resilient character. I loved experiencing her and Trey connect. The atmosphere was gothic and intriguing. That cliffhanger has me itching for the next audiobook!

Brittany Pressley was cast perfectly for this role. Her timing, pitch, pace, and tone was perfect. Her characterizations were spot on. This is an intriguing story and she portrayed that brilliantly.

This series is off to a great start! Thank you to the author and NetGalley for gifting me this mysterious and suspenseful romance in exchange for an honest review.
