I am absolutely obsessed with this series. Mary Oldham’s stories are so intriguing. Her writing style is unique and descriptive. Her stories easily keep you enthralled from start to finish. The characters are always so well-developed and genuine. And this story is no different. This story is all consuming. There’s young love, betrayal, small town drama, second chances, forgiveness, humor, and more. Jeff broke Roxie’s heart when they were kids. And in doing so, broke his own heart. Years and life lessons between them, they now have a second chance at love. If, that is, they can find redemption through forgiveness and acceptance. The witty banter and humor in this story are amazing. Their heartache was sad, but it was wonderful to watch them grow, learn, and find their HEA. Fans of second chances and small-town romance will love this book.
