This is my first experience with Kennedy Mitchell, and I am incredibly happy. From what I can see on other reviews that while each book in the Protection series follows a different couple and can be listened to/read as a stand-alone, they are all intertwined in one way or another. If you’re a fan of shows like Criminal Minds but wish it had some romance with it, this story is for you! It has the perfect blend of romance and thriller. It was super smeggsy and intense, and easily kept me intrigued for the entire listen. Thank you to Home Cooked Books for gifting me this exciting audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

Teddy Hamilton and Neva Nevarre were perfectly cast for their roles. The timing, pace, tone, and pitch were excellent. Their characterizations were spot on. They really brought out the heat, suspense, and passion this story has to offer. Teddy Hamilton’s voice is perfection personified. He could read the phone book, and I’d buy it. I love the way Neva portrayed Remy. These narrators easily kept me enraptured. I highly recommend the audiobook version of Mine To Love.
