I devoured this book. I love the dynamic between Jason & Chloe. Their history goes back to childhood. She was the house cleaners’ daughter and it was his family’s home that her mom cleaned. But a proposed arrangement quickly changes the dynamic of this grumpy sunshine friendship.
5 heartwarming stars! The banter and chemistry between these two characters is off the charts! I love Chloe’s wittiness and determination to take care of her and her grandmother herself. She is an extremely prideful person.
Jason has his own struggles being former military. But it’s his heart that you will absolutely fall in love with. I can’t wait for the next book in the Brewer family.
