New ARC Review from Angie
Love Hazard
A spin off from The Bet, in 1001 Dark Nights
By Rachel Van Dyken
This was such a fun and lighthearted read. It’s always a pleasure to get a novella from one of my favorite RVD series. It’s like the cherry on top of your sundae. RVD is an excellent writer, who always leaves me happy. August and Hazel are absolutely adorable. Grandma Nadine had me cracking up, as always. While it was short, it was lacking in excitement and laughter. There’s comedic banter, crushes, rivalry, heartfelt moments, and of course pranks! The character development and plot were great. This neighbors / frenemies romcom novella had me smiling from ear to ear! It’s the perfect summertime quick beach read! Thank you to the author for gifting me this 1001 Dark Nights standalone novella in exchange for an honest review.
