This was my first book by Andi Burns and I was not disappointed. This story is well-written and beautifully raw. I absolutely adored each MC. Phoebe is a strong and courageous woman, despite what she thinks of herself. Ty isn’t the grump he makes himself out to be. He’s sweet, selfish, and loyal.

The secondary characters were just as wonderful. Their bonds with each other are so real and heartfelt. I’m excited to see where the rest of the series goes!
