This second book picks up where book one left off. And so does Lily and Alfie’s chemistry! Their connection is so intense. The push and pull between these two is so intoxicating. I love the storyline and the way it unfolds. I was completely invested from start to finish. This second book is the best so far. In this one, you really get to see Lily’s character and identity. She’s growing up and becoming a stronger person. I felt like there was more character development in this one. Which made me feel even more connected to everyone. It also heightened the angst. The cliffhanger was exciting. I’m chomping at the bit to see if Lily and Alfie will find their HEA! Thank you to the author for gifting me this wonderfully angsty and heartfelt book in exchange for an honest review.
