I immediately fell in love with the characters and setting of this 3^rd book in the series. I am absolutely obsessed with this series. Every story gets better and better. Catherine’s writing style is exceptionally detailed and intriguing. She makes it so easy to picture everything; I felt like I was there. Giovanni D’Angelo is boyfriend goals. Having already sewn his wild oats, he’s ready to settle down and start the next stage of his life. Emma Rutledge’s first marriage was a disaster, leaving her wary to open herself up to anyone else. For me personally, this made her even more relatable and easy to connect with. I love the way Gio chases her. He was so charming and attentive. He wasn’t pushy but sweet and caring. He made it easy for Emma to start trusting him. This story had so much more emotions to it than the first two, for me. My heart was full watching how supportive Gio was of Emma. He gave her strength through her heartache and trials. The story is enthralling and easy to follow with well-developed and interesting characters. Everything flowed perfectly to give us the perfect blend of romance and love. The family element in this series makes it that much more enjoyable. This is an absolute must read for contemporary romance lovers! Thank you to the author for gifting me this emotional romance in exchange for an honest review.
