A big thank you to Sourcebooks for gifting me this thrilling book in exchange for an honest review. I’m a big fan of Darcey Coates so when I saw the opportunity to ARC this, I just had to jump on it. I love a good mystery disappearance book, and this one did not disappoint. What a terrifying and exhilarating read! I loved every single moment! Darcy Coates’ writing style is so unique, descriptive, and immersive. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. I was pleasantly surprised at the bonds of friendship being so distinct during the story. It heightens the suspense because you quickly feel connected to the characters. The name of the bad guy in this book says it all… the Stitcher. I thought the description of their horrific acts was appropriate for the young adult readers while never losing that intense, creepy, and unsettling feel. An absolute must read for thriller and mystery fans!
