Gah, I love Adriana Locke so much. Her stories never fail to entertain me, and Fluke is no different. With a name like Pippa Plum, I knew our FMC was going to be fun. And man, was she ever. She’s a feisty little thing with a big mouth and no filter at all. That mouth of hers gets her in trouble, so he’s no surprise when she finds herself needing someone to fake a relationship with her. But in typical Pippa ‘go big or go home’ character, she doesn’t just need a date, but an ex-husband. In walks Jess Carmichael, our MMC. A patient, sweet, and hot AF man that drives the girls wild. All except the one he truly wants. He’s determined to make Pippa his forever and quickly jumps at the chance to be her fake ex. There’s laughter, witty banter, and shenanigans galore in this story, and I’m all here for it. And the smeggsy times were hot, hot, hot. I was either laughing or swooning from start to finish. Thank you to the author for gifting me this amazing audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

Samantha Brentmoor and Ryan West were perfectly cast for their roles. Their timing, pitch, pace, and tone were exemplary. They perfectly embodied the MC’s and brought them to life. This feisty and fun couple needed narrators who would represent them the way the author wrote them. These narrators did just that and then some. I’m so glad I listened to this story instead of reading it, because their characterizations made it that much more intriguing and fun. I highly recommend the audio version of Fluke.
