I don’t know how she does it, but every book is better than the last. In this story, we get a Cane brothers and Brentwood boys crossover. Insert screaming here. I cried on chapter 1. Half way through I was cursing Meghan from the anxiety she was giving me, like Mushu from Mulan. Dishonor on you! Dishonor on your cow! Myla and Ryot’s story was incredibly real and relatable. Which naturally had me cursing Meghan again like Tiffany Haddish from Girls Trip. I love you, but I hate you b!+ch! Oh, and Meghan with her smeggsy scenes – ooooo girl you dirty! I love it!! Keep it coming, sister. The end. This is my review. I still can’t breathe. I’m still processing the emotions. #KazooForPresident 

Now to review the narration. Insert more screaming. Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter are a dream team. You couldn’t have cast people more suited to these roles. What a phenomenal and exemplary duet performance! They flowed so smoothly together, and with perfect timing. Their characterizations were spot on. I can’t praise them enough for how they brought this book to life. This story was so emotional and complex. They portrayed it so beautifully. I highly recommend the audiobook version of this story.
