This is an honest review for an arc received.
Cleo Griffin is strong, determined and fierce. Bound to show no weakness unless it pertains to the boy who stole her heart in middle school. Although, she broke up with him, her heart doesn’t agree. It will always be his, only ever his. After an unimaginable tragedy, she is afraid to show weakness to everyone including Kane. She pushes him away to protect him.
Kane Howell has loved Cleo for many years. He followed her to college and would follow her for the rest of their lives. He gave her the space she thought she needed. Now it’s time to take back what belongs to him, her heart. He will stop at nothing to show her that they are stronger and better together.
