This was only my second book from Beatrix Hollow and I am completely obsessed with her stories. And just like with the first audiobook I listened to by her, I was so not prepared for this ride. Her writing style is unique and captivating, as are her characters. Ava is relatable and likeable. I appreciate her need to be ‘normal’ but love the fact that she is far from it and wildly exceptional. And Caspian – fans self. It’s in his nature to find and claim his mate. He only has eyes for Ava and will stop at nothing to make her his. They both seem immature in the beginning, especially Ava. But life has a way of making people grow up and come into their own, so to speak. And dear Mothman – I don’t even know where to start with him. I never knew creepy could be so hot. I’ve already finished the second audiobook and still don’t know if I’m Team Caspian or Team Mothman. If you love reverse harem monster romances, you absolutely need to check this one out. Before you do, please be sure to read Beatrix’s trigger warnings because there are a lot of monster specific things in this one.

Michelle Price, Gregory Salinas, and Jay Alder are absolutely phenomenal. I can’t imagine anyone else being cast for these roles. Their timing, pitch, pace, and tones were exemplary. I love the characterizations each gave to their main characters. They truly embodied each. They even complimented each other, which is not an easy thing to do with how difference each is. They really brought this story to life and made it that much more enjoyable. I was captivated the entire time. I highly recommend the audiobook version of this series. Thank you to Pink Flamingo Productions for gifting me this unique monster romance in exchange for an honest review.
