Clover Sweet is trying to move on with her life. After a brief and relaxing time at her lake house, she accidentally floats into a gorgeous guy’s boat deck. They have a heated and sexy rendevous and go their separate ways. She agrees to taking a visiting professor position at the college. But what happens when your summer fling walks into your creative writing class?

Maverick Waters is enjoying his summer at the lake house with his cousins and his best friend before the final year of college starts. You’ve met Maverick as a young child, and then as a college student. But his story, ugh, will have your heart breaking for this sweet, loving and protective man. All of the pressures that he is feeling, you will feel for yourself. I just want to hug him so bad. Clover, although going through a trying time herself, finds a man who finally puts her first. She does struggle enormously throughout the story with the age gap between her and Maverick. But in the end love is love and has no number affiliated with it. In the end they are absolutely perfect together.
