Just when I think Meghan can’t surprise me more than the last book… BAM!!! Princess Alberta. Queen Elizabeth. Pink taco hood ornament. Vajazzle. Vajangled. Cupid’s arrow. Queen Christina. [New kink unlocked.] Keller’s hands. I didn’t know I had a thing for hands. But ooooo those hands. Someone needs to make this into a movie. I just can’t decide if that’s Passion Flix, Starz, or Pornhub. When I tell you this audiobook is naughty! Besides being a “big” dirty man, his courting game is on point! I’m just saying, I don’t have a uterus but I’m probably pregnant after listening to this.

And y’all, the humor! How does she come up with these things?!! The witty banter, anecdotes, and sharp-witted savvy are epic. My sides hurt from laughing so hard. There is a “car” scene that will have you legit crying from laughter. I’m afraid to keep typing because I don’t want to give away all the awesomeness and hilarity of this story. I absolutely love everything about Lilly, but I especially love the way she pushes Keller’s buttons. The wisecracks were epic. I snorted numerous times, spilled coffee on myself at least twice, and water came out of my nose once.

Emma Wilder and John Hartley were perfectly cast for their roles. Everything about their duet performance is expert level and flawless. Their pitch, pace, tone, and timing are impeccable. Their characterizations are phenomenal. Lilly is spunky, sassy, vivacious, sarcastic, and quirky. Emma captures and portrays her magnificently. Let’s face it, as wonderful as female narration is, it’s the male narration that really sucks us women in. John Hartley as Keller is panty-dropping excellence. The things that man’s voice does to me… I’m not married, my husband is.
