On the train ride, she runs into the handsome and debonair Ladd Mabry. Ladd blames Priscilla’s father Franklin for the mining accident that killed his father. Priscilla’s hand could offer the perfect way to seek revenge. 

This short but sweet historical romance was thoroughly enjoyable. Annee Jones is a new author for me. I was impressed with her writing style and storytelling ability. Despite it being a short read, it still had great character and plot development. If you enjoy short historical romances, this is the book for you!
