Help Me Remember (Rose Canyon #1) by Corinne Michaels

This is an honest review for an arc received.

I always have to get my head and heart prepared for every book I read by Corrine Michaels. If you’ve read her, you know exactly what I’m talking about. So I was totally unprepared for the very first chapters of this book.

“There is no one like you, and that makes you unforgettable. And I would know, I have memory loss.”

My heart broke for Brielle. I couldn’t imagine waking up in a hospital to not only tragic news but not remembering anything from life during a period of time. You feel all of Brielle’s struggles and heartbreak.

“Your heart is meant to be with the person next to you.’”

Spencer, sweet, sweet Spencer. I’m as destroyed when his secret was revealed. Utterly devastated. But the way he carried himself, and gave everything to the one person he loves was absolutely beautiful.

“If I’m Eve, then you should know I don’t want the apple anyway. I want you. I want the snake and the sin and the promise of the future.”

5 stars does not do this book justice. Corrine Michaels – you normally build up our hearts and then stomp all over them and then slowly glue us back together. However, this time our hearts are breaking from the very first page, then slowly you give us glimpses of hope, then shatter our dreams, and then bam! – we are stitched back together perfectly. This book was unlike anything I’ve read from you before. I loved experiencing every single moment of this one.
