Beauty and the Beast retellings are by far my favorite retellings. Even more so when it’s a dark retelling. But this is on a whole new level. I don’t want to say too much and give away anything, but this was an amazing start to this trilogy! It’s raw, emotional, twisted, and erotically mesmerizing. Gemma and Kassen have an uncontrolled passion for each other that only intensifies. It’s commanding, violent, manic, savage, and cataclysmic. Pepper Winters has left me in emotional turmoil from this storyline and cliffhanger ending! **screaming** I need book two NOW!!! Thank you to Valentine PR for gifting me this spellbinding audiobook!

Tor Thom and Charley Ongel are absolutely perfect for the roles of Gemma and Kassen. Tor could narrate the phone book and I’d be turned on. They way they expertly dueted this book will leave you captivated and on the edge of your seat. The push and pull between Gemma and Kassen was intense, and these two narrators made you feel that intensity in your soul. 1000% MUST listen!!!
