My Summer in Seoul by Rachel Van Dyken

This is an honest review for an arc received.

Ok, this will not be like my normal reviews. I’d like to start off my saying that I know ZERO about K-Pop and never have been interested in it. BUT… Rachel Van Dyken is one of my absolute, most favorite authors ever, and I will literally read anything she writes. In true RVD fashion, the amount of detail that goes into her books never ceases to amaze me.

This book deals with a lot of real world situations that could be a trigger for some readers. Me personally, I think it brings a certain realness to the story. It allows you to feel the emotions that the characters are feeling.

4 1/2 amazing stars! Like I said, I knew nothing about K-Pop, but RVD has a unique way of drawing you into her stories. This story was no exception. Be prepared to be all in your emotions throughout this book. You won’t be able to put this one down.
