Elizabeth Knox did an excellent job building this new mafia world with intriguing characters. I was hooked from the very beginning! It was action packed, gripping, and suspenseful. I thoroughly enjoyed this and can’t wait to continue in the Mackenzie Mafia world!

Gabriel Thorne and Rose McMahon were cast perfectly for their roles. Their timing, pace, accents, and vocal characterizations were excellent. Gabriel’s Irish accent was spot on, as was Rose’s Jersey accent. They worked flawlessly together, so I hope they are cast for the rest of this series! Thank you to Pink Flamingo, Audiobook Obsession, and the author for gifting me this intriguing audiobook in exchange for an honest review.
