All the Sauce (Ice Cats #4) by Toni Aleo

This is an honest review for an arc received.

Angie Paxton grew up surrounded by an amazing family and an awesome extended family. She loved hockey and it was her dream to play in the Olympics. When a series of events happens later in her life, she leaves everything and everyone she knows and heads to South Carolina. Can a once confident and strong woman learn to love herself again?

“I’m gonna chase my happiness, and that path leads to Angela Paxton.”

Owen Adler has always been confident, even when he was a child. Coming from a hockey loving family he’s trying to make a name for himself. When his twin brother Evan leaves the team to work on his mental health, Owen feels lost. With one chance encounter with Angie Paxton, he’s determined to make her his. But how do you get someone to see their worth?

“It doesn’t matter what I say, though. Until you love who you are, you won’t believe me.”

4 1/2 amazing stars. Toni Aleo knows how to write a story where her characters deal with real life challenges. This book brought out the struggles with anxiety, depression, self-loathing, and other issues. I love the strength that Evan showed, and the determination of Owen for showing Angie that she’s perfect just the way she is. A beautifully written story.
