This is an honest review for an arc received.
“No correlation to Winnie the Pooh, just a coincidence.”
Winnie Berlin decides to go on an adventure, gets caught in a storm, her car gets stuck and she ventures out in the rain to the house with lights. She stumbles across some professional hockey players at a cabin hoping to relax from the season. Lucky girl right? I would say so. She’s really from a heart breaking tragedy. But her outlook on life is positive. She’s witty and sassy and soon enough has some hot NHL players eating out of the palm of her hand.
“Someone had to put some challenge into the fairy tale you walked into. I don’t mind being the villain.”
Pacey Lawes, goalie for the Vancouver Agitators is relaxing at a teammates cabin in the mountains. Agonizing over their recent departure from the playoffs, they are trying to decompress from the long NHL season. When Winnie arrives at their door, he feels an instant connection to her. After a turn of events, he does what most men do, screws up a good thing. Will he be able to win back her heart?
Love doesn’t have a timeline.
5 shots on goal stars!!!! This book was amazing. Meghan Quinn always has a way of bringing her characters to life. The banter, witiness and sexy times are off the charts. You will fall in love with Winnie and Pacey! I can’t wait to read all of the other guys stories! Please tell me we get more of these characters!!!
“Looks as though I snagged the hockey player with the brains.”
