This is an honest review for an arc received.
“Don’t fall in love with me Sage.”
Ashton Hayes made a Playboy Pact with his closest friends to stay single. But what happens when you have an instant connection with a girl when you’re sixteen? Meeting Sage at a party was unexpected; having to leave her abruptly was the worst decision he ever made. Fast forward, 8 years. He’s a successful real estate agent, and still a total mama’s boy. When Sage walks back into his life, he’s determined to do everything in his power to keep her there. Will Sage’s secret destroy their relationship?
“Let me take you to paradise, sweetness.”
Sage McCoy hasn’t had it easy. She’s blessed with amazing parents, a protective brother and an awesome best friend. But when her life drastically changed when she’s sixteen, she powered through and made something of herself. Never thinking she would ever see Ashton again, she was left with the what ifs. But when she unexpectedly sees him again, the spark that was there when they were younger is reignited. But Sage has a secret, and she’s afraid to tell Ashton. She knows she can’t keep it from him for long.
“I’ve loved you from the moment I laid my eyes on you.”
4 1/2 heartwarming and steamy stars! I loved Sage and Ashton. These characters were perfect together. You could see the instant chemistry that they had with one another even at a young age and it was still there when they reconnected. They are very steamy together! You will feel for Sage, but love her for her grit and determination to make the best of her situation. I love her! Ashton will make you laugh out loud with his antics and banter. But his mouth? Goodness the dirty talk is crazy! You will fall in love with him. You do get to see the rest of the gang throughout this book, and I loved it. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
