Changing the Player by Jacob Chance

This is an honest review for an arc received.

“Love comes when it thinks you’re ready. You don’t get to pick when you fall.”

Flynn Shaughnessy is the Charleston Pirates very own notorious bad boy. With an out of this world ego, and a self-sabotaging personality he’s reckless. Management finally pushes his agent agent Nadia Patel to give Flynn an ultimatum: to clean up his act or he’s out.  This forces Flynn to hatch an interesting plan, for Nadia to be his fake girlfriend. Although he seems rough around the edges, this bad boy has a sweet side.

Nadia Patel is an agent and owner of her own sports agency. She’s worked hard to overcome and succeed in a male dominated world. When Flynn suggests they fake date, she’s skeptical at first but relents. The more time they spend with each other, the more they start to fall.

4 1/2 stars! This book was a perfect, light-hearted read. The characters were amazing, and I loved how you could see the sparks and chemistry develop between Nadia and Flynn. I love how Nadia cares for him, and I love how he wants to be a better man for her. The banter was spot on, and I hope we get to see more of these two in future books. This review is purposely short, as to not give away any of this amazing story. I will say this was a quick read for me, but loved every minute of it.
