The Invitation by Vi Keeland

“You worked through the rain for years and finally got your rainbow.”

Stella Bardot has been burned by a worthless roommate. When she unexpectedly opens a wedding invitation, her BFF Fisher convinces her to crash the wedding. What could possibly go wrong?? Well a good bit actually, but you’ll have to read this book. She’s a perfumist and has created an amazing concept for a new business she’s hoping to launch. Remember that wedding she crashed? Well this is where Hudson Rothschild comes in.

“All brides look beautiful. That’s why they wear a veil—so you can’t see the ugly ones, and everything is magical on their special day.”

Hudson Rothschild is a venture capitalist. After meeting a rather intriguing woman at his sister’s wedding, he finds out she’s a wedding crasher. So what does he do when said wedding crasher (that he can’t stop thinking about) shows up to present her business plan for possible investment capital? Well you do your best to get back at her of course. But what happens when she’s the one person you can’t stop thinking about? You entice her to ask you out.

“Life is messy. You know the only time it’s not? When you’re not living it—when you’re just going through the motions.”

5 amazing stars! I absolutely loved this book. From the characters to the chemistry, the sexy times, the slow-burn; this book has everything! Vi Keeland nailed it!!! You will fall in love with Stella’s quirkiness and Hudson is one hot alpha male. Great read!

“That wasn’t an ending, sweetheart. It was only our beginning. Because a true love story like ours never ends.”
