My fellow Nola504Nerd Blogger [Angie] had the honor of arc’ing this book and gave it 5 stars. We are huge Tara Sivec fans, so I just had to buy the audio version. Tara Sivec never disappoints. She hits a hole in one with this hilarious and sexy romantic comedy. Palmer and Birdie have been friends forever but unfortunately had a falling out. They were both secretly in love with each other and despite their current hatred, still are. Life and golf bring these 2 back in each other’s lives on Summersweet Island. They can’t hide their undeniable lust for each other for long, which leads to some very steamy rendezvous. Who knew a golf course maintenance shed could be so sexy?! There are fun characters, hilarious banter, quick-witted humor, and incredibly sexy chemistry. The side characters are fun and really added to the story. I love Tara’s writing style and humor. She had me laughing out loud at my desk as I listened and left me smiling and happy in the end.  I never cared for golf, but Tara totally made golf sexy!

Kelsey Navarro is a favorite narrator of mine. She is always fantastic. I don’t think I had listened to Tim Paige before now, and he is definitely going on my list of favorite narrators! Kelsey and Tim were perfectly cast for these roles, embraced their characters, and brought the story to life. Their voices fit each character flawlessly and was distinct enough to differentiate between characters. Their tone, pacing and flow were exemplary. They and Tara Sivec worked so good together to create a superb listening experience. I’m a huge fan of audiobooks, especially when it is as incredibly delivered as this one.
