This is an honest review for an ALC received.

This is a fantastic start to a new dragon shifter series featuring the Black Dragon Brotherhood. These dragons were once demons set free from Hell to save the world from the Shadow Warrior creatures. Neo is a sexy alpha-hero dragon and Kady is a witch who doesn’t know she’s a witch. I adore Kady. She’s so nerdy and quirky. She brings light and laughter to Neo’s world. Their attraction is immediate, strong, and passionate. The sexy meter is off the charts! This story is explosive and action packed. This is my first Aidy Award book and I see now why she’s so loved. The story line was packed with action, adventure, suspense, magic, and depth. I love the banter and dialogue between the characters. Her writing really brought their personalities to life. I enjoyed the narration. There were some parts that felt more like reading a scrip. But overall, I thought the narrators did a great job and I would definitely listen to other books they narrated. I’m learning from other reviews that this is a spinoff series from another of Award’s series. Not having read that series, I can say that you don’t need to have read it to enjoy this series. I can’t wait to see where Award takes the Black Dragon Brotherhood next!
