Cassien “Cash” Winslow is an FBI profiler. He’s currently on vacation in New Orleans after working on a heartbreaking case, where a fellow agent was murdered. He’s using this down time to visit with his brother and his wife. He decides to take a ghost tour, where he is inexplicably drawn to the tour guide. When Brielle finally explains her gifts, at first it is hard to believe. As the shadows continue to grow in number, they realize they are dealing with a serial killer. The events continue to happen, and the mystery around the case starts to deepen, they will need to rely on their new found love, and the help of others that are gifted in order to defeat the darkness.

This book was 5 spooky and suspenseful stars!!!! I love Kristen Proby and her love for our hometown of NOLA! Majority of the locals that live here have actually been on ghost tours at some point in their lives. I love how she incorporated actual places on the tour into this story. The characters and the world she builds were amazing. The story has everything…love, action, suspense and paranormal activities. Can’t wait for Spells, Book 2 to release. If you like a book that has a little bit of everything, grab this one today.
