Take A Number by Amy Daws

This is an honest review for an arc received.

“You would be my best customer if you didn’t make it your life’s mission to get on my nerves.

What happens when two people enter into a fake relationship, but are completely attracted to each other? A deliciously funny rom-com that will make you laugh the entire time you’re reading.

“Dean Moser rejected by a female. Alert the presses.”

Dean has been secretly lusting over Norah for a while. When the opportunity presents itself for him to pose as her fake boyfriend, well he jumped right on in to save the day. What he doesn’t plan on is Norah being everything he never knew he wanted. If you’ve read the past books in this series, you know Dean is a cocky, fun-loving guy who is loyal to his friends. Oh yeah, he’s totally hot with his rocking body and nerdy Clark Kent glasses. YUM!

“I’m looking at her because she’s glazing my croinut and I’m starving.”

Norah is the owner of Rise and Shine bakery. She’s very successful and has here future planned out, which doesn’t include a relationship. When her mother invites her to a dinner with an old family friend, Dean steps up as her “boyfriend.” The sparks start to fly the more these two are together. When does a fake relationship start being real? How can you suddenly want everything with a person, when you never wanted this to begin with?

“He’s made my mother stop speaking to me for five blissful days, so he deserves free croinuts for life.”

5 yummy delicious croinut stars for this well written. It’s filled with witty banter and charm, hot sexy times, and down right craziness. I loved every single minute of this story from Norah and her 80’s rocker bandanas, to Dean with his cocky and totally sexy attitude. I loved seeing all of the gang from the previous books. This book has everything! A definite must read! If nothing else, you will want some sweet sugary goodness the entire time you’re reading.
