Backlash (The Rivals Book 2) by Geneva Lee

This is an honest review for an arc received.

Backlash picks up right where The Black List (Book 1) ended. We finally find out some of the secrets Sterling Ford has been harboring. Although Adair is upset learning all of this, if you truly love someone you accept everything about them, flaws and all.

Adair is keeping a secret of her own. I think I know what that secret may be, but I’ll patiently wait for the confirmation. This book also has a lot of the past and present story telling that the first book had, which I enjoy. Things are starting to heat up!!! I can’t wait to see how Sterling reacts to Adair’s secret.

This story was well written, and the plot continued at a good pace. I can’t wait for the third book. If you’re looking for a romance that has a lot of drama, mystery, suspense and of course sexy times, this book is for you! I’m giving this 4.5 stars! Can’t wait for the conclusion of Sterling and Adair’s love story.
