This book is not your typical sports romance. This is a light hearted, absolutely hilarious rom com. Tara Sivec totally delivers!
Palmer and Birdie were life long friends, who are now enemies. They met when they were 15 and Palmer was a golf prodigy. They have been in each other lives, up until Palmer does the unspeakable…he blocks Birdie on social media. GASP! They’ve both been secretly in love with each other, but neither one wants to spill the beans.
Fast forward 2 years, Palmer is trying to repair his public image after having a major meltdown at a golf tournament, being televised nationally. He returns to the small island, with the hopes a friend can help. Birdie is hiding out from a dream vacation she was supposed to take but didn’t get to go. When these two meet face to face again, the sparks are flying!
The sexual tension between Birdie and Palmer in undeniable, and the comedic relief is laugh out loud funny. This book is a slow burn for sure. But when they do get together, holy hotness in a golf course maintenance shed! You will not be disappointed with the secondary characters either. They are all just a witty and funny as the main characters.
