Bishop Winslow is a moody NHL player on Seattle’s expansion team.  He has a hate/hate relationship with Rook Bowman, the team’s captain.  He feels that he’s struggling to fit in and find his place on his new team, all the while keeping his brother out of trouble and healthy.  When he is woken up one night by a girl trying to get into his (recently married) captain’s penthouse apartment (which is across the hall) he is anything but friendly.  Oh yeah, it also confronted her in his underwear.

Stevie Bowman is having a really bad day, and what makes it worse is its her birthday.  When the jerk, who is also extremely hot and lives across the hall from her brother, provides her with a show in his quirky underwear, all the while giving her a piece of his mind, all because she may have been a little loud trying to get into her brother’s apartment.

When Bishop discovers his initial assumptions about Stevie were way off base, Stevie proposes a favor.  She will help rehabilitate his recent injury to help him get on the ice faster, if he will give her the awesome recommendation for treating a professional athlete.  The more time these two spend together the more the sparks fly.

This book was a amazing.  The banter between these two is great.  You can’t help but fall in love with Bishop & Steve.

The book is a 4.5 star read!!!
