The Calydons are a type of brothers in arms. Their strong, alpha warriors who are loyal and deliciously sexy. Grace Matthews’ sister is missing so she seeks the help of Calydon warrior Quinn Masters. Quinn and Grace share an instant and undeniable connection to each other. Quinn is of course torn because he wants to be with Grace but it’s her destiny to destroy him. No mated couple has ever survived this love curse before so Quinn doesn’t believe it will be any different for him. But his love for his soulmate is so strong that he has to take that chance. Quinn is also on the hunt to find his missing brother Elijah when Grace finds him. Grace is an Illusionist and can conjure up some horrifying and very real illusions. Quinn and Grace make a great pair as they search for their missing parties together. They quickly find out that the disappearances are connected. The sexual tension is powerful, making for some steamy scenes. You can’t help but root for them to break the love curse. This is a unique concept to a new paranormal romance series. Stephanie Rowe creates a great world and strong loveable characters. I love the fantasy elements to this story, like Grace’s powerful abilities, mind control, and the Calydon’s having weapons etched into their skin they become real when needed.
