Falling Under by Jasinda Wilder – Book 3 in the Falling series

“She’s a good girl with a future. I’m a bad boy with none. Too bad I’m an idiot who never pays attention to warning signs.”
I thought I couldn’t love this 3rd book more than the first 2. I was wrong. First, we got Colt and Nell’s story in Falling into You. Then in Falling into Us we got Jason and Becca’s story. Now we get the story of Kylie (Nelle and Colt’s daughter) and Oz. Oz who gives an unexpected and welcomed twist to fate. Oz is the typical swoon worthy bad boy who smoke and drinks, has long hair and tattoos, plays guitar, and rides a motorcycle. Kylie is a good girl raised by rock star parents with a strong love for music and Oz. Kylie is able to look past Oz’s past and see him for the man he is. Oz will do anything to protect Kylie and be a good man for her. I love the dual points of view from Oz and Colt. Oz reminds me of a younger version of Colt. They say daughters always fall for men like they’re daddy’s! Thank you Jasinda, for bringing us yet another sweet, emotional, and sexy story in the Fallen series!
While this can be read as a standalone, I strongly suggest reading books 1 and 2 so you can appreciate the whole story.
Synopsis:
My name is Colton Calloway. You’ve heard part of my story, but it turns out there’s more. My little girl, Kylie, is all grown up. Seventeen, beautiful, and talented, just like her mother. And just like Nell, my daughter seems to have fallen for a bad boy, one with a lot of darkness and a lot of secrets.
* * *
You thought you knew the whole story. You thought it was over. Happily ever after for everyone. You were wrong. My name is Oz Hyde, and you’ve never met me. I’m part of the story, too, but I’m an aside, a quick line or two you’d all but forgotten about. Well guess what? I’ve got my own story to tell.
Buckle up, ‘cause this is gonna be a hell of a bumpy ride.
“You light up the blackness that has been my life, and I don’t know how to ever be the kind of man you need and deserve, but I want to try. For you, for me, and for us.”
