Falling into You by Jasinda Wilder – Falling Series #1

This is an amazing book filled with every emotion possible. I cried twice while reading it. Falling into You is full of pain and loss, but also love, hope, and redemption. This story punches you right in the feels. It was heavy and dealt with some serious issues. Jasinda Wilder so much hope and love into the heaviness though that you can’t help but be attached to the characters. Nell started in this story being naïve and immature. It took Kyle’s death to make her grow up. She made some bad decisions along that path of growing up, but don’t we all. Colton is a well-developed hero with a perfect amount of strength and sensitivity. Who doesn’t love rough, tough, sexy, and dangerous in their book-boyfriend?! As much as I loved Kyle, Colton is a much better fit for Nell and the woman she grows to be. Thank you to the author for letting me share in Nell and Colton’s journey. I can’t wait to read Becca and Jason’s book!
Synopsis
I wasn’t always in love with Colton Calloway; I was in love with his younger brother, Kyle, first. Kyle was my first one true love, my first in every way. Then, one stormy August night, he died, and the person I was died with him. Colton didn’t teach me how to live. He didn’t heal the pain. He didn’t make it okay. He taught me how to hurt, how to not be okay, and, eventually, how to let go.
“I hold her. I don’t tell her it’s okay. ‘Be mad,’ I say. ‘Be hurt. Be broken. Cry.’”
