Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry
1st in the “Pushing the Limits” series

The only reason I didn’t finish this book in 1 sitting was because I had to sleep and go to work. But still, I read it in 2 sittings. I couldn’t put this book down! This story is breathtakingly heartwarming. I love that Katie McGarry used both Noah and Echo’s points of view. Doing so pulled you right into Echo and Noah’s world so you could laugh and cry with them. Echo is so feisty and sarcastic. She’s the type of girl that you want as a bff. And Noah…*insert dreamy sigh here*. The bad boy and the troubled girl. Only the bad boy, isn’t so bad after all. I like characters and love stories with depth, struggles and personal victories. It’s honest and real.
“Luke used to give me butterflies. Noah spawned mutant pterodactyls.”
Synopsis
No one knows what happened the night Echo Emerson went from popular girl with jock boyfriend to gossiped-about outsider with “freaky” scars on her arms. Even Echo can’t remember the whole truth of that horrible night. All she knows is that she wants everything to go back to normal. But when Noah Hutchins, the smoking-hot, girl-using loner in the black leather jacket, explodes into her life with his tough attitude and surprising understanding, Echo’s world shifts in ways she could never have imagined. They should have nothing in common. And with the secrets they both keep, being together is pretty much impossible. Yet the crazy attraction between them refuses to go away. And Echo has to ask herself just how far they can push the limits and what she’ll risk for the one guy who might teach her how to love again.
“Sometimes when you see the line, you think it’s a good idea to cross it–until you do.”
4 hopelessly-romantic stars!
