LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this story! It’s not the best book ever written or anything, but the story is SO great. Panty dropping and suspenseful! I didn’t want to put it down!
Some books, while portraying the hero with a secret, go about it in a bad way or the secret ends up being a really stupid one that isn’t a “secret” so to speak. This was not at all that way. You knew there was a secret but it wasn’t harped on and in the end the secret was huge! Cas is YUMMYLICIOUS!
And Jess’ secret was a great one as well. It wasn’t a stupid little I was a slut in high school secret like some books. It was an actual secret worth the suspense.
The ending was a total surprise! I normally can see what’s coming in romance novels but this one shocked me. Definitely worth the read, as the 2nd book which is from his point of view.
“The secret has been killing me. Taking small chunks out of who I am until I wasn’t me anymore.”
