Muhrder is finally here. We find him in a B&B in South Carolina “haunting” the attic.

We find out he why he was previously kicked out of the Black Dagger Brotherhood. One major story line is what resolved, what really happened between Muhrder and Xhex. The big question is how will this effect John Matthew and Xhex’s relationship.

Early on we meet Sarah, who is a scientist at the lab. She is instrumental is rescuing a young vampire names Nate. While she is rescuing him, she meets Muhrder and Xhex.

Muhrder is drawn to the Sarah, and we finally get some closure with Xhex. John Matthew has to deal with his emotions and the bonded male actions towards Muhrder. But he quickly realizes the brothers true worth when a crisis arises.

Throe is causing havoc, but ultimately gets cast aside for the new villain in the series.

Muhrder gets his HEA and he does a barters his entry back into the brotherhood with something truly noble.

This book felt like we are finally back on the right track with the BDB world. Can’t wait for the next installment.
