Gemma Mancini, an OCD, list making, football loving woman is on the hunt.

She has been hurt in by the man who she thought she would be with for the rest of her life.  She finds out her husband, Carlo, is having an affair.  The night she plans to confront him and demand a divorce, he delivers her an unbelievable blow.  She decides to stick by her husband, and never reveal to him that she is knows of his affair.

Fast forward, almost a year, she tells her friend Belle, that she is ready to get back into the game, except for this time, she wants no strings and no commitments.  Together they come up with the idea of Gemma bringing a different guy to each of the Chicago Bears football game.  They decide this over drinks at a local bar called Doc’s.  Zach Bowen, who is the bartender who overhears this, offers himself up as her “practice game.”

Zach Bowen, has had his own heartbreak.  After quitting a promising collegiate football career, to help his family in their time of need, he is unknowingly looking for love.  He has his sights on the beautiful woman that is talking about a crazy plan.

Throughout, the Bears season, Zach tries to get Gemma to open up to him, and he finally realizes he is starting to have feelings for her.

Zach and Belle conspire against Gemma to make her realize that she has feelings for Zach and to give them a chance.

This was a very cute and funny story that does have an HEA!  I loved how they each worked through their issues, and came back to each other.

I give this book 4 1/2 stars!
