So I’m am back to share a photo and a pretty cool story from Readers on the River.

J.R. Ward was interviewed by the dashing Christopher Rice. Let me just say that she may look all prim and proper in her high heels and little black dress, but that lovely women cusses and likes long hoses. 😉😉

I am going to tell you my version of what happened to Angie at J.R. Ward’s signing table before you get told a different version. Lol. I am standing in line to get my books and misc stuff signed by Lorelei James (the first cowboy romance I ever read). I had a picture frame Angie gave to me to have Lorelei James sign. At this point Angie is in the line for J.R. Ward to sign her books and one of mine. In order for the lines to go faster they ask your name early in line and write it down on a sticky note to put in the book so the author knows who to make it out too. Well Angie is calling and texting and basically blowing up my phone for me to hurry up in the line I’m in. I can only go so fast with people in front of me. So anyway, all of a sudden she comes running up and yells ‘give me my frame’ and runs back to J.R. Ward. At this point I am now finished with getting my stuff signed with Lorelei James and head to the photo area by J.R. Ward. This is where things get fun. J.R. Ward has finished signing the books with my name on them and is now starting on Angie’s. Angie looks down at the books and GASPS! She says ‘I think you signed my friends name in my books’. J.R. Ward looks up at her and says ‘well isn’t that just a f***ing train wreck’. Angie says ‘it’s ok, just scratch my friends name out’. J.R. Ward looks up at Angie and says in a aghast tone ‘I will do no such thing!’ So then J.R. Ward gets LeElla, her assistant, to write down her info to get this corrected after the signing. So now I am getting extra books signed by J.R. Ward and Angie is getting books mailed out to her by J.R. Ward!!! Eek – this is my version of what happened.

I had such an amazing time meeting and talking to all of the talented authors!
